Not much of note today, as most of my time in WoW was spent working on raising my fishing skill, first by Ratchet and then over at Zoram Strand. I stopped once I hit 125 so I could use the Expert book I picked up in Booty Bay earlier.
I’ve heard that fishing is more profitable now, but my main goal at the moment is to use it to help raise my cooking skill, and with tonight’s catches I managed to get cooking from 70 up to 127.
Ya know, I picked up fishing 2 days ago, and I *still* haven’t wet a line even once… I hope it’s more profitable, cuz back when I maxed it out on ol’ Sheckie (Greymane), the only profit to be had was Stonescale eel — for about a week, and the market bottomed out.
If I’m gonna spend an inordinate amount of time not picking weeds for my alchemy, fending off stupid crocolisks, and not engaging in the best part of WoW (ie hacking the crap out of anything that moves that isn’t green, blue, or refusing a duel), then it damn well should be profitable. ;-)
And I ain’t touching cooking on this character — besides… Claire has given me enough food to open Azeroth’s first 7-11. :-)
When I do get my fishing on, I’ll be sure to send you fish if you need ’em. Or anything else I pull up that happens to have “warrior stuph” written on it. :-)
