And after those diversions, I got back to Final Fantasy 12 with a vengeance over the weekend.
Since so much stuff was done, I’m not going to bother listing everything out in detail. The main highlights were getting through the quests in Archades, raiding the Draklor Laboratory and meeting up with Dr. Cid, and a long trip to the lost city of Giruvegan, where the princess learned about some some immortal guys watching over the world, the origins of nethicite and how her ancestors were involved, blah blah blah…
After that I did a bunch of hunts since Reddas had joined my party, though not quite enough to reach the next rank of the club. Along the way I’ve also picked up quite a bit of cash, all of the gambits, and I’ve nearly gotten pretty much all of the important stuff on the license board for my main characters.
Tonight I took on the next dungeon, the Pharos tower, and it’s turning out to be the longest one yet. I’ve beaten at least four bosses in it so far, and only done two of three ‘ascent’ sections, and the rest will have to wait until tomorrow. According to the guide I’ve been checking, I’m pretty close to the end of the game though, with only one more real dungeon after this one.
